Vayakhel and Pekudei - Free Will

Parsha Vayakel is read this week along with Shemot 30:11-16 for Parsha Skekalin. This Shabbos is the first of the Four Special Shabbatot which is on Rosh Chodesh Adar. We have two Adars this year. Next week we will read Parsha Pekudei.

Choose to Belong

These two parshas end the second book of Torah.

The book of Shemos starts with the  Jewish Nation in slavery through exile to revelation. The revelation is At the base of Mount Sinai, Jews choose to belong and make a freewill choice to be with the Jewish Nation.
